I noticed that the Grand Duke and Hereditary Grand Duke are also wearing the star of the Order of the Oak Crown - I don't believe I have ever seen a member of the Luxembourg family wearing more than one star. Even during a state visit, when it is customary to wear orders from both countries they still seem to limit themselves to one star. I even had the impression that this was part of the rules and guidelines for wearing state decorations, similar to Belgium.
Can you (or anybody) tell me whether I had the wrong impression all along, or if there was such a rule, but it is now relaxed?
