Archduchess Sophie of Habsburg wore, for her wedding to Prince Hugo von Windisch-Graetz in 1991, a fringe tiara which had belonged to Grand-Duchess Vladimir of Russia. After the bolshevik revolution and the death of Grand-Duchess Vladimir, the fringe tiara had been inherited by her daughter, Grand-Duchess Elena Vladimirovna, Princess of Greece, then by Elena's eldest daughter, Elisabeth, Princess von Törring-Jettenbach (Sophie's maternal grandmother):
