Leslie Field on page 77 (1987 ed) uses a photo of Queen Mary to identify a chain and pendant which she says were made from some of the cleavings from the Cullinan. Field says that these were inherited by The Queen who has never worn it in public as 'it gets in the soup'.
I suspect that comment is somewhat misplaced as I cannot envisage a chain and pendant of that size falling into a soup bowl.
