Unfortunately I'm not capable to enlarge the picture or to find a clearer one but I cannot help but wonder whether the highest pin holding the veil- which I see somehow made of three circles( with tiny pearls?)- has a shape inspired by the design of the three circles in the Borromeo coat-of-arms- which were meant to represent the alliance between the three most important Milanese families which were Sforza, Visconti and Borromeo. Looking more carefully I have the impression that even the lowest pins are actually made of three circles even if half hidden by the veil.
