Source: Google Images. "a brooch consisting of a very large white diamond encircled with a diamond row" (from the Library of Congress newspaper shown in my first post) This description looks like Queen Victoria's brooch on the front next to the sash here in this picture. Is it this brooch?: Or this one (as a pendant of that row of diamonds) worn by Queen Alexandra? I suppose it's the same brooch as a pendant on rows of pearls worn by Queen Elizabeth II at the parliament as shown in a picture in one of these posts here. --Previous Message-- : The link jewel / necklace - well: : : http://www.royal-magazin.de/england/queen-victoria/victoria-queen-diamond-jubilee-diamonds.htm : : and the diamond brooch! from.... : "The princess of Wales, the duke and : duchess of Fife, Prince and Princess Charles : of Denmark, and Princess Victoria have : jointly presented to the queen (Victoria) a : brooch consisting of one very large white : diamond encircled with a diamond row." : : : : : : "The duke and duchess of Coburg, the : duke and duchess of Connaught, Prince and : Princess Christian, the marquis and : marchioness of Lorne, and the duchesses of : : :
