Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother. Unsure of ID of brooch Archived Message

While looking for photos of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth's silver wedding anniversary, I noticed these photos of QEQM in 1954.

I did not immediately recognise HM's brooch although, after looking at enlarged photos, I wondered if it might be her Lily Brooch (see Roberts The Queens Diamonds pp. 234-237). This is the brooch we formerly called the foot long brooch.

Roberts says that one flower and one bud in the top elements are adjustable. He also states that originally the stem was articulated, detachable and divisible into two clips. That makes for a number of combinations for this brooch.

I wonder if this is one of the rare occasions on which QEQM was photographed wearing the brooch other than in the classic formation we are more familiar with. Perhaps I am wrong and it is an entirely different brooch.

All the photos relate to HM's visit to the US in 1954.
