You certainly produce some different photos which make for interesting discussions Brock. This colour photo will give us a lot to think about.
I was interested to see Queen Mary depicted wearing earrings with a coloured gemstone surrounded by diamonds for day wear. I have noticed a number of photos where she is wearing earrings of a similar style but, with black and white photos it is usually difficult to gauge what the central stone might be, except when her brooch might provide a clue.
My less than discerning eye does not see a match between Queen Mary's brooch at her neck and the one you referred to in Angela Kelly's book - but perhaps I am wrong again!
