Page 339, all the diamonds jewels were dismantled to create new jewels for empress Eugènie from 1853. She just kept the coloured parures (emerald, rubis, saphires and turquoises) as they didn't have royal insigna. The crown jewels were not used by king Louis-Philippe and queen Marie-Amelie so all the jewels were in the 1830 state when empress Eugenie had the diamond parure, the pearl and diamonds parure and the extraodinary currant leaves belt done. --Previous Message-- : : Morel writes page 313 of his book that Bapst : realized in 1820 a big floral bouquet for : the duchess of Angoulême (Marie-Antoinette : and Louis XVI daughter) with 3944 crown : diamonds weighing 210 carats.
