I just cannot see that The Queen would have permitted Sophie to loan Jewellery for such a high profile event from a commercial entity. It made more sense to me that this tiara from Edwards grandmother had been given and was then broken up to make the modern aquamarine tiara/necklace now worn by the Countess.
