The Girls of Great-Britain and Ireland's tiara or Queen Alexandra's Kokoshnik are excluded, as they are still frequently worn by the Queen. The same for the Vladimir Tiara, of course. As we are in the field of speculation, let's speculate frankly. So here are the jewels I would hope to see for the next Chinese State banquet: - for Queen Elizabeth II: Queen Mary's Fringe Tiara + Greville Emerald Necklace + large Greville Diamond Bow Brooch - for the Duchess of Cambridge: Queen Mary's/Empress Maria Feodorovna's Sapphire and Diamond Bandeau + Princess Diana's pearl choker with the large sapphire clasp. OK, I know I am dreaming... So, more plausibly, I expect : - for the Queen : the Girls of Great-Britain and Ireland Tiara, or the Vladimir Tiara + one of the Saudi necklaces, or Queen Victoria's Jubilee Necklace - for the Duchess of Cambridge: the Papyrus Tiara + the Hyderabad diamond necklace.
