My apologies Paisley. I should try to remember to post some details for those who are interested.
I am intrigued as to why there was a display in 1951 of the Coronation items from 1937. As it appears that the display was at St James' Palace, I suspect it was probably not for the public - but that is just a guess, and may not be accurate. It would be interesting to know if the crowns, as well as the coronets worn by QEII and Princess Margaret, were displayed. Somehow, I suspect that they were not (or at least not the King's and Queen's crowns).
