Further to your helpful information I have compiled a list of some brooches worn in Nigeria in 1956. Pair of sapphire leaves Pair of aquamarine clips Diamond Bow brooch Williamson Pink Diamond Nizam's rose - donot know Large or small Teck triple drop pearl brooch and on a multi patterned dress - either Rhodesian Flame brooch or London Diamond Lily Brooch. There were others too hard to see.
