Mary Curzon's Peacock dress is now in Kedleston Hall in Derbyshire which is run by the National Trust. It does seem as if this dress & Queen Alexandra's dress were both reunited in the 1930's & 1940's while under the care of the London Museum. This link gives details of Mary Curzon's eldest daughter being very upset about how her mother's dress had aged & also mentions the decay of Queen Alexandra's dress and it being too fragile for display in the 1950's. Hopefully Queen Alexandra's dress has also had some repair work done to it as the Curzon dress now stands in the middle of a room in Kedleston & you can walk around the glass display case & see the entire dress & the little beetle wings attached to it which give it its luminesence.
