    This emerald necklace has been sold for CHF 3.2 Mio + Buyer's premium (CHF 3'834'000).

    Though, Queen Marie-José's ring didn't found a buyer...surprisingly, in my eyes, but maybe the estimate price of CHF 5.86 Mio was a bit too high. According to the catalogue notes, the ring appeared already in 1997 (Sotheby's in St. Moritz) and again in 1999 (Christie's Geneva) at auctions. Is it known, for how much the jewel was sold back then?
