    Re. the Ligne tiara:
    I don't think that is can be a Merode tiara, because the pic above was taken in 1950 and Princess Hedwige got married later, in 1966.
    But I think that the tiara could also be heirloom from the de la Tremoilles family. Wasn't Prince Jean Charles de Ligne's mother the heiress of that family? Like so often there is probably no secure source around to help clarify the origin of this tiara. But it is very beautiful! I assume that it is no longer in possession of the Ligne family, or Isabella Rossini wouldn't have worn the aquamarine tiara.

    Re the de Courval tiara:
    Is it known which lady wore the Courval tiara in that picture from 1950? The original owner, Viscountess du Courval, died in 1901. Afaik she and her husband had only one daughter, Madeleine, who married Francois de Noaille, Prince de Poix. So it must be one of the Countesses de Noailles, but which one?
