I am not sure that the first brooch is the BOAC brooch. The BOAC brooch, as I know it, is shaped sort of like a 45 degree angle whereas this brooch seems more like spread out wings (almost "RAF ish").
In Beth's picture, it looks as though Princess Elizabeth is being escorted by RAF Officers - probably travelling on the King's Flight to Malta as opposed to BOAC.
I think the second brooch is the Pink and Blue Sapphire Flowers.
