The Duke of Bavaria was a first cousin of King Leopold of the Belgians because their mothers were sisters. With such a close family relationship it makes perfect sense that the Bavarians attended. Besides, the tiara of that lady really looks like the Bavarian one. I must admit that I originally mixed her up with the Duchess of Braganza. I thought that this was the Braganza choker tiara. I believe that AD Yolande, nee Princesse de Ligne, also attended. Just now I can't find the picture, but I think it was in the thread where we discussed the Belgian noble families' jewels. --Previous Message-- : Oh dear...Thank you for your informations.
