I am perplexed by your list M13chen. Not all of the jewels you list were purchased by Queen Mary, and you note some were gifts and 2 were purchased by Princess Mary and her husband. Unfortunately, you do not give your sources (apart from the reference to Hennels' list); however, whichever source said that Queen Mary's Honeysuckle tiara (now owned by the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester) was purchased from the estate of the Dowager Empress is incorrect. Roberts, page 164 (in his footnotes) quotes from the Garrard's ledger for the order for this tiara made for Queen Mary. In the mega Munn, pages 192-3 similar information is provided and Munn notes that E Wolffe & Co made the tiara. They were one of the manufacturing jewellery firms used by Garrard. Munn also has a photo of the original design drawing for the tiara with the higher central element. If additional proof is needed then check Getty images where you will see photos of Queen Mary wearing the tiara years before the death of the Dowager Empress. (tiara was made in 1914). The history of bandeau with the large central sapphire worn by both Queen Mary and Princess Margaret has been the subject of much discussion. So far, I haven't seen any proof that the Dowager Empress ever owned the jewel, and so I would be inclined not to include it in any list. Princess Margaret wearing the sapphire tiara
