A very sad story. I hope that the Earl and Countess of March will recover from this traumatic event, and that their jewel heirlooms will soon be recovered and returned to their rightful owners. I think that the £400,000-estimated stolen tiara is the one worn on this picture by the Duchess of Richmond (Elizabeth Grace Gordon-Lennox, née Hudson) in 1937, in connection with King George VI's coronation. The £200,000-estimated stolen diamond necklace might be worn by the Duchess on this picture, but we can not be sure as the necklace is not clearly visible: Source: National Portrait Gallery's website, http://www.npg.org.uk/collections/search/portrait/mw169907/Elizabeth-Grace-Gordon-Lennox-ne-Hudson-Duchess-of-Richmond
