    Q Silvia Brazil 1984 Archived Message

    Hi,

    at the Swedish state visit to Brazil 1984 Queen Silvia is using a necklace I never seen before or since. Does anyone have any information regarding this?
    It might not be a splendid jewel, but still she is using it at a formal reception hosted by the president of her native Brazil.

    I'm new here so please be gentle with me if this have been discussed before

    Silvia is also wearing her earrings as hair ornaments in a similar way Princess Madeleine did at the Swedish Academy in December.
