    There are at least two diamond rivieres in the Orange-Nassau collection. One is said to have belonged to Empress Maria Feodorovna, mother of Queen Anna Pavlovna. The other riviere is part of the jewel set Queen Wilhelmina received from her father for her 9th birthday. The set is a necklace with triangular pendants and a pair of earring. It can be worn as a full necklace and earrings and that was how we have seen it most during the reign of Queen Juliana. The necklace can be worn as a riviere and the pendants on a base as the triangular diamond tiara. There are several other frames to turn the set in different tiaras.
    Juliana received a diamond riviere for her 18th birthday that may be a third one.

    My impression is that HM is wearing the riviere part of Wilhelmina's set.
