Dear Beth, I fully understand your anger about the uncredited use of knowledge which was posted here by you and by others. It's highly annoying to see others earning the merits for information they got free from this board. But since this is a place which is accessible for literally everybody, it'll be very difficult - actually impossible - to have a policy which will be followed by everyone. Of course, one can phrase a policy, but how accomplish it? So, it would be a waste of time. I think, the only thing which might be done is a message on top of this board to appeal to all who might make use of knowledge 'harvested' on the RJWMB to at least name the source and credit the RJWMB & user name. But this appeal would not be binding and can be ignored without any further consequence for the ones who appropriate information gained from here. It would be merely a 'moral' one - but I'm convinced, that people who are not willing to give credit to others are surely also untouched by such an appeal . I'm afraid, there is not much more to do - except posting more restrictively which would be a pity for the - IMO - outstanding quality of many posts here on this board.
