In two years crown prince Frederik of Denmark turns 50 we might see a big party in Denmark again. His brother follows a year later and in 2020 their mother turns 80 and she's always good for several tiara events. The Norwegians have hosted big tiara events and the King and Queen will celebrate their golden wedding in 2018. I would be surprised if that would not be celebrated with at least one big tiara event. Willem Alexander turns 50 next year and his mother will be 80 a year later. We might even see a special celebration next year for the golden wedding anniversary of princess Margriet and Pieter van Vollenhoven. Crown princess Victoria of Sweden turns 40 next year so she might be the centre of a big celebration. She is close to most Royals of her generation so plenty of them would be invited. Within the next decade or so we will see the biggest royal event since 1953 when the UK crowns it's new sovereign. Incoming State Visits to the UK will become more interesting in the next few years with HM, the Duchess of Cornwall, the Princess Royal, Duchess of Cambridge, Countess of Wessex, Duchess of Gloucester, Princess Alexandra of Kent and Harry's future wife all attending. All we need is more footage to enjoy the display those ladies put on. --Previous Message-- : For the Wedding Day of Princess Astrid's : Children, Queen Paola, Queen Mathilde, : Princesses Astrid and Claire will never wear : tiaras as in Sweden and Denmark. : It was the reason why I started this thread : after the Glittering Event of the King of : Sweden 70th Birthday and its great group : picture : : --Previous Message-- : And the younger Lux siblings, the younger : Belgians (Astrid's kids), and of course all : the German houses still seem to bring the : bling.
