Clearly jewels were 'donated' to be put to use by Queen Mathilde and her offspring. Which ones we can only determine in time.

It would be : nice if somehow the trust got most if not : all of the grand jewellery. That would end : the problem of pieces leaving the house by : inheritance. : : --Previous Message-- : : Like HM Queen Paola once did with the : diamond parure that she received from Kongo. : : : --Previous Message-- : : True or everything was put in a Trust to : avoid taxes. : : : --Previous Message-- : Im thinking that not Mathilde inherited them : but either Philippe or the crown. Another : option is that her will left him the : opportunity to buy pieces from her : collection. : : --Previous Message-- : That'a a match. Nice. Slowly but surely we : are : seeing more jewels that belonged to Queen : Fabiola. I think it is now safe to assume : Queen Mathilde inherited most of her : important jewels. Which makes sense of : course. : : : : --Previous Message-- : It could be... : Great to see another rarely piece of royal : jewellery! : : : 17th May 1963, Lindon, United Kingdom: King : Baudouin of Belgium and Queen Fabiola : entertained members of the British Royal : Family at a State Banquet at the Belgian : Embassy.
