Today is the 49th anniversary of that fabulous wedding in Copenhagen, many pics are popping up and Danish mag Billed-Bladet has this one among their review of pics of the happy couple over the years. It shows Tronfølger Margrethe and her (then) fiancé Henri de Laborde de Monpezat during their pre-wedding days. If I am not mistaken we can spot the brooch the Princess received from her maternal aunt, Lady Patricia Ramsay on her 18th birthday, adjusted to her pearl necklace(s) ... The brooch is still/often used by the present Queen Margrethe btw!!
