More jewels on Paris' Martin du Daffoy's stand: - an emerald and diamond necklace. Personally, I am quite indifferent to this design of necklace, but the huge cabochon sugarloaf emerald is absolutely amazing! - an impressive seven-row necklace of fine natural pearls. It hangs very low, and the pearls are really luscious. The necklace is held behind the neck by a rope connected to the pearl ropes by two enamel (?) plaques on the sides, which could indicate an Indian origin. Whatever, this necklace makes a impression of sheer and absolute majesty! - a large diamond necklace in garland style (probably by Cartier), which had already been displayed two years ago by Martin du Daffoy at the 2014 Biennale: The main display window includes the oldest and most historic pieces, among which four tiaras (the one on the top left being the one formerly belonging to Princess Iolanda of Savoia, see my earlier post in reply to Lorenzo's message): - a beautiful pink topaz and diamond necklace, dating back to the early 19th century: - a pair of beautiful diamond earrings, possibly dating back to the 18th century: - and finally, a very nice pearl and diamond sunburst brooch:
