Back in 2012 there was a thread regarding the Art Deco tiara of Princess Sibilla of Luxembourg. There were a few photos of the Princess wearing it at the weddings of Princess Alexandra of Sayn-Wittgentein-Berleburg and Crown Prince Haakon of Norway:
Our fellow poster Torkel also mentioned that Sibilla was present at the State Visit paid by the King and Queen of Norway to Luxembourg in 1996 and that she might be wearing this tiara. I had never seen a photo from the banquet held during this State Visit until today. But doing some digging around GettyImages I came across a group photo:
Unfortunately it is indeed very difficult to see which tiara Princess Sibilla is actually wearing - at least to my at times unreliable eyes.
However, if this is is the Art Deco tiara it could very well be the first time she wore it. The next sighting was at the before-mentioned wedding of Princess Alexandra in 1998.
