It was a pleasure for me to find out a little secret from the Imperial Rock Crystal Easter Egg - now in the Collection of the VMFA “The largest public collection outside of Russia”. Visit the Collections at https://vmfa.museum/collections/art/imperial-rock-crystal-easter-egg/ and find out what was the secret Miniature from the life of Empress Alexandra's Faberge Egg! Not one of much glittering Imperial Faberge Easter Eggs of the Romanovs, but very, very nice in detail and amazing stories behind the surprise. If you had not the time to visit the Museum, I had add my hunting treasure, hope you enjoy it. Thanks to Mr Shifman(Sydney and Frances Lewis Family Curator - Decorative Arts from 1890 to the Present), Dr M Miller, Schloss Fasanerie who identified the Veste Coburg and Christel McCanless.
