The multi-colored necklace worn for the arrival at the airport looks like the signature style of the jewelry made of semi-precious stones by Brazilian designers ViBiLeardi, who happen to be Queen Silvia’s cousins. The set in the second pic is interesting; Queen Silvia first wore it in public ca. 2005, and we were never quite able to figure it out. It consists of a large brooch in what looks like yellow gold, diamonds and very pale pink stones (?); the earrings and the pendant worn on a necklace chain apparently match the pinkish stones in the brooch pendants. Agreed, the kind of setting looks old... Thank you Tamera, in your pic the details of the brooch are visible at last. I'd say white gold for the leaves, but the central stone doesn't look like coral to me - could it actually be a natural baroque pink pearl? It's not coral that you might think...it's "angel skin" coral which is much paler than the normal orange color that we are a costumed to see but it still has little orange in it... It tapers on both ends... Thank you, Tamara! I simply hadn't connected these two pairs of earrings. Interesting that you can't see where the bottom cabochon ruby gets attached.
