I have spent my spare time since Sunday renaming and sorting my files to bring them in line with the QD references. I struggle with the fringe necklaces and tiaras but am making my way through, that is until I looked at the back cover of the book jacket. The necklace is identified as the King Khalid necklace on the final page of the book.
The necklace from my King Khalid file
A necklace which I have never read as identified:
From the photo on the back cover, I see fringes that are mostly the same length, like the unidentified necklace.
The photo of the King Khalid necklace on page 309 shows fringes of alternating lengths.
I am trying to correctly identify the necklace on the back cover but can't get good enough resolution on a scan.
I would appreciate your learned opinions as to what the Queen is wearing in the photo on the back cover. Perhaps someone with a better scanner or better eyesight can shed some light on this.
Well spotted! I believe the King Khalid is correctly identified on pages 308-9. The necklace on the back of the jacket has never been identified here on this board.
