I thought you might like to know this quote from "The Courier" (Lincoln, NE) dated July 9, 1898.
QUOTE:
"By the way, at the private sale of the effects of the late Duchess of Teck, the jewelry---as was only right---passed into the hands of the Duchess of York."
But unfortunately, it did not further list the specific jewels that went to the future Queen Mary.
