Hi, thanks for the linki, but when I want to see more info the brooch I have to login/register, but my French is quite non-existent. What is the info they give on the brooch? The information "It was purchased at auction from Drouot's (Paris) in October 2014, for 8.400 euros." doesn't necessarily mean that it was purchased for (or by) Queen Mathilde at that time. Dealers in antique jewels often buy at auctions for resale. Since Queen Mathilde didn't wear the brooch in public before I'd rather assume she acquired it at a later date.
