A few interesting jewels could be noticed on the royal ladies attending King Constantine II's funeral in Athens on Monday - mostly pearls and diamonds, as appropriate for funerals.
The King's widow, Queen Anne-Marie, wore the diamond cross pendant that she has regularly worn throughout her life, and notably for her wedding day in 1964 - in the same very cathedral where her wedding ceremony took place...
The Queen also wore an interesting ring, depicting the Greek traditional flag (a white cross on a blue background, without the stripes). Judging from the picture, I guess it could be diamonds and blue enamel:
Princess Alexia of Greece, Mrs Morales, wore a sapphire and diamond greek cross pendant, and a brooch which looks to be made of an antique Greek coin:
Princess Anne of the United Kingdom wore a brooch that I did not know of until now. It looks antique in style, with a large central yellow stone (citrine? topaz?) surrounded by diamonds and drilled with smaller diamonds and pearls. Does anyone know if Princess Anne (or any other British royal lady) has already worn this brooch?

I noticed Queen Anne Marie’s ring when watching the live stream. I don’t recall seeing it before. Perhaps it was King Constantine’s?

I wonder if the brooch could be from Empress Eugenie, it doesn’t look like her most commonly used cipher which was a double E. it’s quite like the image below. I don’t feel like it could be too modern. It could also be Queen Elena of Italy.

It's not Queen Louise's cypher. The brooch was made in 1917 in commemoration of the Duchess of Connaught, the former Princess Louise of Prussia.

It's not Queen Louise's cypher. The brooch was made in 1917 in commemoration of the Duchess of Connaught, the former Princess Louise of Prussia.
