Grand Duchess Maria Teresa wore the Belgian Scroll Tiara, Hereditary Grand Duchess Stéphanie was in the Aquamarine Bandeau Tiara and Parure , and Princess Alexandra wore the Chaumet Emerald Tiara for the first time for last night’s New Year’s Reception at the Grand Ducal Palace.

It looks good on her, just like it did on her great-grandmother. Somehow it does not suit the current grand duchess. It looked okay on the late grand duchess Josephine Charlotte but not as good as on Charlotte or Alexandra.

Im not sure it will look good on Stephanie, but it is great to see her so radiant in her second pregnancy. It's nice to know their dreams of seeing their marriage blessed by children is coming true.

It's a pity princess Claire is not attending with her husband. She and Felix make for an attractive couple. Im also surprised Guillaume and Sybilla never attend this event.
