Queen Wilhelmina diamond?

Speaking of Queen Wilhelmina's wedding gift tiara, is it known what happened to the central diamond of the tiara? I've seen it labelled as the Queen Wilhelmina diamond. It must have been quite a substantial stone. Maxima has also worn the smaller brooch of the Mellerio ruby set on this trip. Previous Message Maxima was wearing some serious (day wear) jewels today on Sint Maarten: A pair of figure 8 diamond and sapphire pendant earrings (stones come from Queen Wilhelmina's wedding gift tiara), the round diamond and sapphire brooch (exact provenance unknown but already worn by Queen Wilhelmina in the 1930s) and a (NEW?) ring with a huge cushion shaped sapphire set in small diamonds. Perhaps the sapphire was taken from the base of the Wedding Gift tiara? The diamond base had one cushion shaped sapphire in the center. Embed from Getty Images .

Margriet has worn / owns an all diamond brooch with a rather large cushion shaped diamond pendant. The large central diamond in the tiara from the Wedding Gift parure is said (Brus)to have been sourced by E. Vita Israels from one of the Golconda mines in India... You are absolutely right of course. I didn't recognise the modern setting and colour of Maxima's Tanzanite ring. Previous Message The blue ring is from her smaller set of tanzanite earrings and this cushion shaped tanzanite with diamond setted ring. Queen Maxima wore the earrings and the matching ring on the following event at the tour. the tanzanite set - worn Queen Maxima
