Funny detail…. She is wearing 2 times a tiara in loan. The Danish Kedhive of Egypt tiara from Cartier…. Now in Greece and the swedish Boucheron circle tiara (with extra diamond base) …. Now in Norway.

Princess Margaretha wore Princess Marie , her Mother in law loop tiara at Princess Astrid, her Sister's Wedding. Prince Georg sold it. Count Flemming Descendents sold a lot of jewels , items , Princes Axel and Georg Decorations. Lucky Princess Margaretha gave to her goddaughter Raghnild her Boucheron tiara and to her other Goddaughter Princess Margaretha of Luxembourg her pearls (She wore them at Grand Duc Jean's Funerals. Very interesting. Thank you for bringing it to our attention. The way I read it it does indeed look like the Count is the present vendor. As for photographs with Princess Margaretha wearing any of these items.. I think at least I was able to find one where she seems to be wearing the lovely diamond rose brooch. I actually think you might have made a discovery here. I think the other bracelet that is also being sold started out life as a necklace. But parts of the original necklace are now attached to the sapphire bracelet

It seems strange to add false diamonds to a real diamond and sapphire jewel ! Previous Message The two rows clearly are a later addition, but the lot’s description says “flanked by two rows of paste added at a later date” [my emphasis], so I doubt they originally formed a necklace together with the diamond bracelet. I think the alteration was rather unfortunate and spoils the clear lines of this otherwise quite lovely sapphire bracelet.
