H.M. Queen Mother Elena of Romania’s mystery diamonds necklace

I wonder what is the origin of this diamonds necklace worn by Queen Mother Elena of Romania at a ceremony at the Court of Athens. Probably a loan, since I don’t recall to have seen this jewel again for other occasions. Anybody?

I think we all know the photo of Queen Ingrid wearing the Greek diamond tiara - also at the Greek centenary - because her own tiara box was mistakenly misplaced... and I wonder if something similar could have been the case of one of Queen Elena's boxes...

My guess is that it is a loan - either from a Greek jeweler (if it is true some of her own jewels were misplaced in Athens) or from some other jeweler... because I do not recognize this necklace as belonging to some other royal house who she could have loaned it from...

As Queen Elena is wearing the medal/order of the Greek centenary the photo could very well be from that event.

If a royal only wears a jewel once you should always be a little on guard as to ownership - unless you 100% know the jewel belongs to that royal family

With a great help of Gregori Batin,
a list is on this side about jewels which Queen Marie of Romania, bought or received as gift.

As well as she left or give to the family on her last will. On the source of her dairies.

We have some Cartier Bracelets and watches, the given to Queen Mother Elena - we see the Cartier Sapphire bracelet pictured.

And the important Diamond Fringe Tiara (Tsar Alexander II had this imposing tiara made for his wife Tsarina Marie Alexandrovna)which Maria of Romania, bought from her sister Infanta Beatrice.

But yet, there is no such diamond necklace for Queen Mother Elena...
