Early cutthroat trout caught with a BrownBagger nymph

Mid morning warm sun on the water

Rogue trout are attacking Carpetbagger nymphs

Teri and I floated the Rogue and found a host of cutthroat and rainbow trout attracted to our Carpetbagger flies. No adult steelhead have shown up in the catch yet, though there are enough of them around to make every hit interesting. The heat of the Rogue Valley day has gotten hot so dress accordingly... RG
