I read elsewhere about one other fly-caught big buck steelhead hooked and landed that weekend on another board. So the big boys are up, following after all those numerous hen fish of the earlier Fall. You can throw a lot of cast on the cold water and all it takes is one big boy to make the day warm! 
Skiing should be starting soon? I've got a venison/wild boar chili feed party scheduled with Pete to coincide with an early ski day. Should happen at Pete's place. We'll let you know when the date is finalized! Merry Christmas and the best of the season to you, Rachael and Bodhi!
