Yet another river float on the upper Rogue and the action is slow. Teri and I floated the river under the cold gaze of Mt. Mcloughlin.
Teri enjoyed the warming effect of the sun on this early March day. The fishing was slow. The trout were even off the bite. Low and cold water, where are the fish to be found? One spot where I've seen steelhead is near home in the little Rogue tributary called Bear Creek. Here's a hen set to work on her redd.
