Rogue summer steelhead...hot weather and hot fish!!

Hooked up two early summer steelhead on the Rogue River today. Mid-July air temperatures are hot...over 100°F...80°F in the shade...and the fish are looking up. Put away the heavy Rogue stoneflies nymphs and swing away with traditional steelhead flies. Both fish came to this #2 Silver Hilton wet fly. RG
