I'm sorry. It has no distaff. The wheel will need some care, as well. It's been unused for many years and the joints in the wheel itself are pretty dry. I have only one bobbin, so another may have to be located or fabricated.
When I last used it I spun wool and it was very agreeable, a fine yard, easily controlled. But I have not used it for 15 years, having given up all that stuff when my marriage came apart in the mid-1990s.
I do think, however, that it could serve someone well as long as they knew something about such wheels and their care and feeding.
I would be happy to ship it to Canada or anywhere in the US.
