Just noticed a post from Fred Augerman on the Stan Kenton Yahoo group re Burlington's Brant Inn, long gone now but at one time, a large and famous nightclub. CHML, the CBC and others did numerous remotes from the venue, featuring some of the most popular entertainers of the '50s, '60s, thereabouts...
The subject line above is the title of a new book by Stewart Brown, which may be of interest to many who remember the place. (us old farts, eh?)
