I got to know Marc through CMW where for many years he did the announcing that his illness has forced me to do for the last two years. We had much in common, but one major difference. He had incredible pipes, and I just wish I did.

This just in:
"It is with great sadness that I tell you about the passing of our
wonderful friend and collegue Marc Chambers.
Marc passed away early this morning after a very corageous battle with
Cancer....one he shared with his faithful 1050 CHUM listeners.
Marc was always thrilled to be here at CHUM and even as he fought
everyday -- even on the days when he was not feeling well... he came
to work with zest and heart. He used to tell me... "Amber, I'm at
CHUM.... life couldn't be better".
