You never see it coming.. You give it all you got and get caught up in it's trappings along the way.
Radio Dollars are fleeting so you juggle many balls in the air. Then one day the body sends you a direct signal but you are juggling and don't hear it. The next signal sends you to the ground, you can't get up and you can't get that imaginary Buick off your chest. One triple bypass later and MY but aren't we wiser now. The work load is cut to one third. The diet is low fat/low salt. And there is minimum of 30mins a day in exercise. Been in the biz more than 15 years? Get off your a** and do it now. I was not done entertaining my small listenership. I need them as much as they need me! If you feel the same about your audience, then get yourself back into shape before your obit is posted here, too. I got lucky.. Simple as that.
