People that are 25-45, like Timbaland, CHR, etc, are referred to in the US as "Indie Yuppies".
...and, frankly, all of this American Idol/Urban/CHR/etc scramble to get 'younger listeners', is pretty much doomed, (facts are in place, just haven't been read by the 'powers that be').
Truth is, radio only has 'casual' listeners these days...people that love music have moved on to the net/limewire/p2p world...that's where the music is.
If you want a 13-25 audience these days, give away cell phones and iPods, video game consoles and games, and a way for the kids that visit your website to chat, play GTA 4, and have a say in what you play. Otherwise...they ain't never comin' back.
Disagree with me when someone currently on the CHR radar has 5 or 6 chart singles, and a career that spans 5 albums and 7 years...
