I first met and fell in love with Brian Budd back in the mid 70's in Vancouver when CKLG was doing a promotion with the Vancouver White Caps.

Anyone who met the man knows what I mean by love. He was just one of those rare individuals that you want to be around. Always electric with life and bubbling over with good cheer. He took that into everything he did, as you can read via the link below.

My deepest sympathy goes out to Brenda and the kids and to the countless others who fell in love with this remarkable man over his much too brief 56 years of life.

This is a very, very sad day for us all.
