The big question is... has satellite radio REALLY had any MEASURABLE impact on terrestrial stations?
Measurable as in ratings; ripping massive numbers of listeners away from earth-sticks, depleting SERIOUS revenue from commercial stations? Listeners that would never go back to terrestrial sticks... ever?
Or; is sat radio just a luxury add-on? Something to punch in after I get my LOCAL news-traffic-weather from my local station during drive time?
"Two have become one" as XM no longer exists; so Sirius is the only dog left sniffing potential listeners legs... methinks sat radio is more a luxury, than a necessity.
