Barry, I think you hit on what made John Moore not quite work for me the few times I heard him in the morning. It takes me a couple of hours and at least 3 cups of coffee in the morning before my mind is ready for anything intellectual.
I also agree that Carroll is better suited to mid-mornings. He's always been at his best when he's interacting with callers and this will give him more of an opportunity to do that.
But now, the burning question. Does this mean that he will stop shopping at Tom's Place and once again pledge his allegiance to Saul Korman?
