So I'm sure everyone knows by now but a number of news stations decided to broadcast "news" about Toronto's most talked about missing girl...
"The father of a 17-year-old girl, who last week went missing outside of her Toronto school, was acquitted in April by a California court of lewd sexual conduct for allegedly masturbating in front of a child day care centre."
Now, he was acquitted of all charges, meaning it formally certifies the innocence of the accused.
Isn't there a moral dilemma here? Why broadcast this, if it has nothing to do with the search or information that would report on the missing girl?
Fortunately a number of stations did not broadcast this information...
I think it damages the family's reputation unnecessarily.
